| Agricultural Interpretive Loop | |
Selah is home to a great history of fruit orchards. These orchards provide fruits to the many fruit packing companies in town. Along this tour, visitors will see over 20 orchards, but the six indicated on the map have agreed to have signs to show the fruit that is growing in their orchard. The summer and fall seasons are prime time for the loop because the trees will be full with fruits before the harvest. Be sure to end the tour at the new Tree Top Visitor Center. |

| Sporting Events and Tournaments | |
Selah is a wonderful place to host a variety of sporting events or tournaments. Not only is there great weather year round, there are impressive sports facilities as well. Carlon and McGonagle Park are the most prominent and well known fields, but there are several fields that could be used for football, soccer, lacrosse, or rugby tournaments, camps or games. |

| Yakima River Canyon Marathon | |
The Yakima River Canyon Marathon started in Ellensburg and ended in Selah. Participants ran through the scenic River Canyon via the Yakima River Canyon Scenic Byway. At the race headquarters in the Selah Civic Center; following the race a prepared dinner and race stories were shared. The race is a yearly event. More Information |

| Selah Community Days | |
Selah Community Days is a yearly event in the city that takes place the 3rd weekend in May. It offers a variety of activities to participate in or observe and events to watch. Along with all the fun outdoor activities and events, you can go to the Selah Civic Center for a pancake breakfast, hobo feed, fireworks and a potato feed. Tree Top will again be hosting its annual Skewered Apple BBQ Competition in Selah. The competition will be held on September 7 & 8th at the Tree Top Headquarters. Discover Selah will be part of this event with a couple activities to participate in throughout the weekend. | Whispers of Christmas | |
Whispers of Christmas is a yearly event in Selah. The first Saturday of every December starts with a free breakfast lout on by the Kiwanis Club. Santa Clause makes an appearance at breakfast as well. In the evening children are able to take their turn telling Santa their Christmas wishes.
